On occasion of the election of the 44th President of the United States of America, Storefront for Art and Architecture, in association with Control Group challenged to design a new residence for the worlds most powerful individual.

JDS Architects’ contribution to the Copenhagen Architecture and Design Days is an untraditional happening on Gråbrødre Torv in Copenhagen. The event is modelled after an open house concept and places the office activities outdoors during the course of the CPH_ADD festival. In a normal working situation JDS projects integrate and define public space. By exchanging these roles and placing the office in an urban context we open the process of architectural creation to the public. Rather than only face an architectural result the public will experience or even engage with the process of making architecture. Join us on Gråbrødre Torv, in the heart of Copenhagen May 16^th-18^th from 10.00-18.00. On Friday the 16th we will host a reception at our location from 16.00 to 20.00.
