Here’s a little bit about Above:
Responding to the urgent need for sustainable living, Above magazine calls upon the environmentally conscious and everyone else interested in the future by sharpening its focus on the endangered beauty of the world.
It is our firm belief that photography, the plastic arts, fashion, architecture and design can be instrumental in raising awareness about the need to preserve nature and we aim to share our opinionated, yet aesthetic vision, with our readers.

The Rule of Regulations
How are current laws influencing the design of new housing? Are different architectural styles being encouraged or prohibited? In the last two years, the UK housebuilding industry has been inundated with new codes, regulations, guidance and legislation. As a result, the estimated 3 million new homes needed within the next 12 years will be more sustainable, more accessible, and more regulated than ever before. Taken together, this new body of regulations could unwittingly influence the form of 21st century residential architecture as much, if not more so, than modernist manifestos did at the beginning of the 20th century.
LAST COUPLE OF DAYS OF STREET & STUDIO AT THE TATE MODERN!!
Street & Studio is a magnificent exhibition of international photography. It presents a fascinating history of photographic portraiture taken on the street or in the photographer’s studio, looking at the differences between these two key locations in which photographers work. Street & Studio brings out the contrast between the photos taken in the carefully orchestrated studio, and images captured in the changing and uncontrollable street, whilst highlighting the crossovers between the genres and their influence on each other.
