Since March of last year we have been reading your reactions to the new Holmenkollen skijump deign and it’s worth to Oslo as an cultural and architectural icon. The ski jump is a marvelous and breathtaking design. I hope you rally enough support to make it a reality. It will clearly place Oslo’s architecture on the world stage.

Oslo needs a beacon! I was at Holmenkollen this spring, and the old ski jump nearly takes your breath away. But it feels like a relic–outdated and unsuited for the world stage in 2011. Bring on the beacon!
